The History Department of Hindu Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Jind, organized a one-day workshop on Intellectual Property Rights on February 11, 2026, to enhance intellectual awareness among students.

The workshop was inaugurated under the chairmanship of Dr. Poonam Mor, Principal of the college. The Principal stated that such workshops make students aware of the legal protection of their ideas and creative works. The workshop was conducted by Mrs. Soni Goyal, and Dr. Kokila served as co-convener. Kumari Jyotika, a professor in the college's Commerce Department, was the keynote speaker. She provided detailed information to students on the concept, importance, and various aspects of intellectual property and rights, such as copyright, patents, trademarks, design, and other related topics. She also explained how intellectual property rights are helpful in protecting research and creative work in modern times.

Students from various faculties of the college participated in the workshop. This workshop will develop students' understanding of intellectual rights and benefit them in academic and professional fields.

The presence of Kumari Bindu, Anju, and Maneka at this workshop was very dignified.
