A one-day workshop was successfully organized on 12th February, 2026 at Hindu Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Jind by the Department of Hindi and the Career Counselling and Placement Cell in collaboration with AWL Metaverse Pvt. Ltd. and Navchetna Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. The workshop aimed to strengthen the employability skills of students. The objective of the programme was to make students aware of the current employment scenario, essential professional skills and various career opportunities.

The programme was presided over by the Principal of the college, Dr. Poonam Mor. In her presidential address, she stated that in today’s competitive era, academic achievement alone is not sufficient for students; communication skills, personality development, technical competence and self-confidence are equally important. Such programmes prepare students to face future challenges effectively.

The Convener of the programme, Dr. Sushma Garg highlighted that career counselling helps students choose the right career path according to their interests and abilities. The Co-Convener, Dr. Neelam motivated the students to actively participate in skill development activities.

The keynote speaker and Director, Mr. Rakesh, provided detailed insights into the current demands of the job market, the importance of soft skills, interview preparation, effective resume writing and digital skills. At the end of the programme, a question-and-answer session was conducted, during which the second session speaker, Ms. Ronak addressed the queries of the students.

On this occasion, faculty members Dr. Rachna Dalal, Dr. Jyoti, Mrs. Rajni, Mrs. Soni, Mrs. Kirti, Ms. Jyotika, Ms. Vanshika and Mrs. Rekha Goyal made commendable contributions. Around 160 students participated enthusiastically in the programme. The event concluded with a vote of thanks.
