Apart from regular parade training the cadets of the college also take part in various activities as, weapon training, national integration, historical, geographical and religious background of India, leadership training, first aid, aid to civil authorities, civil defence, ecology/nature awareness, self defence, giving information about N. C. C., hygiene and sanitation, social service, adventure training, map reading, field craft, scout and patrol, military history etc. The cadets of the college actively participate in various national camps and competitions. The N. C. C. aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. Further, it aims at creating a pool of organized, trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the nation regardless of which career they choose. Needless to say, the N. C. C. also provides an environment conducive to motivating young Indians to join the armed forces. This will help the students to not only join the defence services, but it will also help NCC Certificate holders to avail various incentives by state and central government in the field of academics as well as employments.
